This trailer allows to very easy place and install the Car Gate at any location without any help. The trailer is equipped with a hydraulic system and has enough space for the barrier, the motor unit (900 kg) and a catchpole (300 kg). In addition, the Car Gate Solution can be controlled wireless by its rechargeable battery.
By using this trailer all restrictions will vanish and installation costs will be saved.

The next months Heerema Marine Contractors is doing maintenance on its deepwater construction vessel the "Balder". For access control during this work, together with ANVD Heerema Marine Contactors chose for the Control Gates and Musterpoint of IQ-Pass.In order to work safely the access area is completely sealed off and equipped with IQ-Pass Control Gates and IQ-Software, which make it possible to check the number of persons which are present in each area at any time.
In the sealed area on a pontoon, 4 Control Gates XL with a total of 8 tourniquets are included in the fence.
On either side of the pontoon a boat will be moored. On one side the work ship the “Balder” and on the other side an accommodation ship, the “Ocean Countess” for workers and subcontractors.
By placing the access pass in front of the reader, access will be granted to one of the two vessels.

Transocean is a major company in the offshore industry. The 139 drilling platforms of the fleet receive regular maintenance in massive drydocks. The GSF Magellan is currently undergoing extensive maintenance is the Keppel Verolme drydock. Due to stringent safety standards Transocean have requested that IQ-Pass deliver the access-control, access-registration and registration of workers for this project. The IQ-Pass Control Gates and registration software guarantee a secure access-control solution with time-registration of maintenance personnel and other visitors on a 24-7 basis.

Two IQ-Pass access-control units have been installed on the Afrikaanderplein in Rotterdam during the winter festival from 10th – 26th December. In order to guarantee the safety of visitors to the 500m2 covered skating rink, two Control Gates with full-height turnstiles have been installed. Use of the skating rink is free, and skates can also be hired for free. This generous initiative is made possible thanks to the local council of Feijenoord, housing corporation Vestia and a number of other sponsors.

On the 18th of November 2010 IQ-Pass participated in the NIDV defence and security exhibition at the Ahoy exhibition halls in Rotterdam.

The exhibition provided governments, defence organisations and businesses the opportunity to view the latest advances in technology in the area of defence and security. The focus this year was especially strong in the area of innovation in safety. With this in mind the IQ-Pass products generated a great deal of interest, especially the Control Gate – the access-control system with integrated guard-house, double full-height turnstiles and electrical gate proved a great success. The robust construction, complete out-fitting and fast deployment were particularly attractive to the many professional visitors to the IQ-Pass stand.

It is expected that the contacts and discussions that took place at the exhibition will lead to numerous new orders for the the IQ-Pass products. With a successful track-record in construction and industry the IQ-Pass solutions are now set to prove their worth on behalf of several military users.
